Since receiving his Master of Fine Arts in Scene Design at North Carolina
School of the Arts in 1989 Richard Harrison has worked fifteen years in
painting murals, designing scenery and teaching high school and college students
how to design and paint. Richard Harrison has done mural work in Omaha, Chicago, Minneapolis, South
Carolina, and Colorado. His work with the Thomas Melvin Painting Studio in Chicago
included the A.T. &T. corporate headquarters and work for the Chicago Art
Institute.

- Creighton University Medical Center Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (about 1,200 square feet)
- Hope Center Swimming Pool (about 3,000 square feet)
- Cascade, a restaurant
- Fernando's- a restaurant (Blair, NE and Dodge St. in Omaha)
- The Goddard School (about 500 square feet)
- about 300 residences (many of them high end)
- about 10 model homes in Chicago and Omaha combined
- various show houses done for charities by designers and home builders
- renovation of the painted plaster details in the historic Omaha Stock Yard Building
- Benington High School Gymnasium mascot and lettering
- Morton Jr. High School mascot and letting in cafeteria and hall.
