We worked with Arts for All and their Where Great Art Meets Books Series on Saturday. We read My Diary From Here To There by Amanda Perez about a young girl’s trip to America. The book was bilingual and we read it that way. The kids then worked on designing a mural together based on the concepts in the book and their own memories or impressions of Mexico. We had a great time! We will do another workshop like it April 30th at 2:30. You can sign up for it here.
